Characters
• Alih – Young brother of Omar. A Moro who plans to kill the celebrating people friendship day
• Omar – The older brother of Alih. He the one who plans to kill the people in the town
• Imam – The village priest .
• Lucy – first crush of Alih
• Fermina – a beautiful bar maid with a mole near her mouth. Alih likes her so much.
Settings:
The story happened on July 4th in a city with a parade of people.
Plot
Exposition: Alih and Omar who plan to kill all the people in the village celebrating the Filipino-American Friendship Day. To wash their shame and gain respect from their father who killed of the americans soldier by accused wrongly.
Rising Action: he saw a float with a girl whom he thought of as Fermina. He move towards to the float and he assisted the girl and he recognize that she is fermina.
Climax: he was about to hold fermina completely but his brother omar came he was drunk all along. Alih knows he’s brother was drunk and going to kill fermina.
Falling Action: Alih kill his brother to protect fermina.
Resolution: After the incident many speculation that happened but still they didn’t know why alih kill his brother. Alih want Fermina than to gain the white horse.

Analysis:
Alih was the protagonist. Omat taught Alih if they killed people their shame will wash away and they gain respect, and Allah will send white horse and they will ride it to heaven. We value the teachings of the adult to us and we will carry it until adulthood. But in the end Alih value Fermina than the white horse.
